Floating in grace
Many of us are brought low by illness, unwelcome transitions, or a startling recognition of our human frailty and brokenness. Then, without warning, we experience sheer grace. We are lifted up, our wounds are bound, we are bathed in compassion and acceptance. Our lives are never the same.

Valerie will share her faith and read poems with us during worship. Her warmth and graciousness are captivating, her poetry is moving and her story is inspiring. Valerie's books will be on sale during morning tea for those who are interested.
Service of Healing and Wholeness
If you are feeling gloomy or disturbed by the news in the world, you are invited to pray for inner peace at a service of healing and wholeness. The time will comprise of self directed centres for prayer which you can engage at your own pace. Each centre will have a different focus including prayers for ourselves, those we love and the world.
Operation Christmas Child
Last year we at St. Andrews by the Sea, Glenelg sent over 45 boxes to children overseas.What a fantastic effort! This year we hope to match that number of boxes. For the month of August we will be collecting- Something to love with e.g. a soft toy, teddy bear or doll.
