Floating in grace
Many of us are brought low by illness, unwelcome transitions, or a startling recognition of our human frailty and brokenness. Then, without warning, we experience sheer grace. We are lifted up, our wounds are bound, we are bathed in compassion and acceptance. Our lives are never the same.

Migrant and Refugee Sunday
Some of our young people from church are preparing a special worship service in observance of Migrant and Refugee Sunday. We will hear the voices of refugees in our midst and share in their joys and struggles.
Cold Plunge for those in Need
This years Cold Plunge for those in need, which raises much needed funds for UnitingCare Glenelg and Vinnies, will take place on Sunday 28th August at 11.00am.Plungers and Non-Plungers are encouraged to come along from 10.00am to register and take part in the fun. Service of Healing and Wholeness
If you are feeling gloomy or disturbed by the news in the world, you are invited to pray for inner peace at a service of healing and wholeness. The time will comprise of self directed centres for prayer which you can engage at your own pace. Each centre will have a different focus including prayers for ourselves, those we love and the world.
Operation Christmas Child
Last year we at St. Andrews by the Sea, Glenelg sent over 45 boxes to children overseas.What a fantastic effort! This year we hope to match that number of boxes. For the month of August we will be collecting- Something to love with e.g. a soft toy, teddy bear or doll.
